Britax Convertible Car Seat Recall

Below are all the documents related to a recall being released today on the following models of Britax Convertible Car Seats with manufacture dates of June 1st 2012 through August 31st 2012. This is not a crash related recall but rather the HUGS Chest pad designed to keep the belts in the proper position and also absorb some shock, Britax has received reports that some children are chewing on the HUGS Pad and small pieces may break off resulting in possible choke hazard especially for very young babies.

Dear Retailer,
Graco Children’s Products Inc. (“Graco”) in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is announcing the recall of all Graco Classic Wood Highchairs. The highchair’s seat can loosen or detach from the base, posing a fall hazard to the child. The affected highchairs were sold between September 2007 and December 2010. The recall is scheduled to be announced on October 9, 2012.
The following models are affected by this recall notice:

If you were at our Oakland Meeting in November we advised you that the Tushie Brand would be going away as they were bought out by the company Earth’s Best. They apparently just wanted the recipe to make them as they are now making all of the former Tushie & Tendercare products under the Earth’s Best Brand. You may know the brand name as they are noted for Earth’s Best Baby Food, sold in grocery & health food stores.

The Britax Boulevard 70 & Advocate 70 Cowmooflage are being discontinued
